These days I got hooked on the Korean drama Vincenzo that’s why I tried visiting their filming location in Seoul located in Cheonggye Plaza.
If you are a reader of my blog you know that I love visiting the filming locations of every drama that I watch. These days this Korean drama Vincenzo played by Song Joongki is one of the dramas that I am watching. It’s a dark comedy-drama which is really interesting. Anyway, before I show the filming location of the drama I will write a short synopsis about the drama.
Synopsis of Korean Drama Vincenzo
Vincenzo is a Korean drama starred by Song Joong-ki, Jeon Yeo-bin, Ok Taec-yeon and Kwak DOng-yeon. This drama is currently airing during weekends on tvN, at 9:00 pm, and premiered on Netflix last February 20, 2021.
The drama is about a Korean boy who was adopted and brought to Italy at a young age by Don Fabio (the head of the Cassano mafia family). He became an Italian lawyer and works as an advisor for the mafia. When Fabio died, Paolo (Fabio’s son) wants to kill Vincenzo. He fleed to South Korea to recover the gold hidden in an old building named Geumga-dong Apartment Complex hidden by the Chinese tycoon who later died. No one knows about the hidden vault except Vincenzo, that’s why he wanted to get the gold and use it for his retirement. But a real estate named Babel Group bought the building illegally and Vincenzo wants to take back the building by all means. He got involved with Lawyer Hong Cha-young when Lawyer Hong Yoo-chan died unexpectedly.
Vincenzo Korean Drama Filming Location
In episodes 1 and 2, a familiar building in Seoul has been featured in the drama. It is the Sewoon Shopping Center in Cheonggye Plaza which was built in 1968. This building was the first-ever electronic market in Korea with a community complex that is running for over 40 years.
However, in 2017, it’s been redeveloped into ‘Maker City’ which holds other industries like creative printing and manufacturing. Aside from that, from the Sewoon Rooftop, you can see the panoramic view of Seoul. This place is also near Cheonggyecheon stream where you can have a walk with friends or family.

Oooh, ito pala yun. I saw an fb contact post about Vincenzo on FB. Kaya pala sabi nya exciting, exciting nga! I’m not so good at following through with KDramas but I’ll see if I can try this one. I’m currently trying to watch the KDrama versio of 18 Again.

I hope Joongki will pop out pag nagvisit ko sa ganyan haha. It’s one of those location na worth visiting kasi you’ll never know you might chance on this actors there. And btw, great bonding with your kid din. He’s so handsome sis 💙
