Cutie Café Moomin & Me near Seoullo 7017

I found this Cutie “Café Moomin & Me” near Seoullo 7017, a minute walk from Hoehyeon Station, subway Line 4.

This cafe is a minute walk from Hoehyeon Station, subway Line 4 near Seoullo 7017 across the Namdaemun Market and it’s just near Hoeyeon station, subway line 4. The cafe’s grand opening was last June 9.

Koreans love coffee that’s why cafes are very popular in this country. A lot of themed cafes have been opened like the Hello Kitty Cafe at Myeongdong and Hongdae but it’s been closed. The Hunny House (Winnie the Pooh theme) in Itaewon but later changed to Toy House Cafe which has the theme of Toy Story. In this post, I will share a newly opened cafe and an Instagram-able coffee shop name “Moomin & Me Café”.

Few Things About Café Moomin & Me 

When you go inside you’ll see Moomin friends stuff dolls sitting at each table mainly Moomin, Moomin Mama, and Snowmaiden. In particular, Moomin sits here and there inside the cafe in different sizes. Tables and chairs have different designs too which is unique for this cafe.  Some tables and chairs are colorful, some are antique style, some are simple and modern style.

Prices and Menu

The menu is mainly coffee, juices, teas, bread, cakes, and other desserts like Moomin macaroons.  The Moomin art latte is great and too cute to drink. The Moomin Pancake Brunch costs 13,000 won, the Moomin latte costs 5,000 won, and Moomin macaroons which are 2,500 won each.

Though the food prices are a bit expensive, still manage to order the rainbow crepe cake and ice tea.

Gifts Corner

At the other side corner, they have a Moomin mini gift corner where you can purchase merchandise of Moomin stuff like dolls, socks, pens, mugs, clocks, plates, coin banks and etc. It opens Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, during Saturdays and holidays the cafe, opens at 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and last order is 6:00 pm. The cafe is closed every Sunday.

Cafe Etiquette

If some cafes don’t mind if you don’t order or not but Cafe Moomin & Me have their etiquette guide posted inside the cafe.  Seats are only provided for those who order. NO outside food or drink is allowed. Self-service corner for those who need condiments and water but upon finishing your food bring the plates, cups, and trays to the counter.

Take Subway Line 4 going to Hoehyeon station, exit 4, and walk about 80 meters. It’s above the 7-11 convenience store.
