Missing Goblin? Visit White Birch Story Tea House [자작나무이야기] is a café that is located in Seoul’s neighborhood of Sogyeok in the district of Jongno.
White Birch Story Tea House or 자작나무이야기 is a small cafe with 10 to 12 tables inside and on the other side there are 4 seats and 2 seaters. Even if the cafe is full it’s not actually noisy, the ambiance is relaxing and has a unique design of a Hanok cafe.
When I first saw this tea house, I find it interesting~ the design is unique. It is an ancient and modern style. Actually, the place inside is instagrammable. There are a lot of things you can capture~ from small toys to books and posted notes. It’s a perfect place for tea in the afternoon and a nice place to chill. They have different kinds of beverages like coffee, smoothies, juices, healing teas, ade, and cocktails.

Update (2021)
I went here a few weeks ago and there’s nothing changed except for the window side. They removed the other decorations like the figurines, books, and sticky notes that you can see before. They also changed the table and chairs. The menu is still the same they still served their bingsu with red beans, dried jujube, and almonds.
The first time I visit the cafe I only ordered cold Omija Ice tea but this time I tried their waffle. The waffle was served with fruits, whipping cream, and ice cream.

Yes, even the place is a bit small. Their shaved ice dessert or bingsu is unique. Will try to visit again next summer to try their bingsu eventhough it’s a bit pricey for me.
