The 2021 Yeongdeungpo Spring Flower Festival is the most awaited festival but due to corona, the said festival has been limited to the public.
Spring is the most awaited season of all here in Seoul, either locals or tourists. It gives us new hope and new beginnings whenever the cherry blossoms bloom.
But due to corona, last year we are not able to enjoy the spring festival. But this year, Yeongdeungpo made something for us to enjoy the Yeongdeungpo Yeouido Spring Flower Festival.
As one of the selected 2021 Global Seoulmate by the Seoul Tourism Organization, I got the chance to visit the said festival. It’s my first time visiting Yeongdeungpo Yeouido Spring Flower Festival and it’s amazing. The rain made the spring flowers more beautiful and the fallen petals made the scenery more perfect.
Aside from the beautiful spring flowers at the Yeongdeungpo Spring Flower Festival, there are also picnic sets that serve as photo zones. In addition to that, if you follow the trail of the cherry blossom trees, you’ll able to see a stunning view of the Han river too. There are also colorful art-like chairs where you can sit and take photos too.
Due to the early blooming of the cherry blossoms and rain last Saturday, Yeongdeungpo Spring Flower Festival has been held until April 7, 2021. We are lucky that it didn’t rain last Sunday and still got the chance to walk on the petal carpet.

Amazing, may flower festival din pala sa Korea like what we have in the Philippines. I am so glad that they still celebrated the festival despite to Covid!. I guess, this is a sign that the situation in Korea is getting better and getting safe for covid, I hope they will start toped up and enjoy the pre covid situation.

If walang covid, the place will be crowded pero carry pa din makakagalaw pa din. Yun nga lang daming photobomber pag nagpicture ka.
