Synopsis of Korean Drama Vincenzo
This drama is about a Korean boy who was adopted and brought to Italy at a young age by Don Fabio (the head of the Cassano mafia family). He became an Italian lawyer and works as an advisor for the mafia. Paolo (Don Fabio’s son) tried to kill Vincenzo after his father died. Vincenzo flew to South Korea to recover the gold hidden in an old building named Geumga-dong Apartment Complex. Vincenzo’s aim is to recover the golds underneath the building and leave Korea. Thatโs why he wanted to get the golds and use it for his retirement. However, a real estate named Babel Group bought the building illegally and Vincenzo wants to take back the building by all means.

In episodes 1 and 2, a familiar building in Seoul has been featured in the drama. It is known as the Sewoon Shopping Center in Cheonggye Plaza which was built in 1968 and the first-ever electronic market in Korea. Aside from that, the Sewoon Rooftop offers a panoramic view of Seoul.

In episode 3, we have seen the Seoullo 7017 or known as the Seoul Skygarden or Skypark. It is an overpass turn into a garden decorated with different kinds of plants and flowers.ย Seoullo 7017 is one of the landmarks of Seoul which connects the Seoul Station to Namdaemun Market.

Common Ground
In episode 5 of Vincenzo, the Common Ground was featured which is located in the neighborhood of Achasan in the district of Gwangjin. This place offers trendy lifestyles, fashion, and shopping experiences.

At this bar, Hong Cha-young meets Vincenzo to convince him to work with him in taking down the Babel group in episode 4 of the drama. Adult Grand Park is located in Hapjeong, Mapo district which is actually a bar and a liquor shop.

Itโs an amazing feeling to see in person the places you only see in movies. I had that experienced when I went to Hollywood in Los Angeles. i was expecting something more, was imagining things based kn the movies I saw. Itโs difrferent from what I imagined….

I’m watching Vincenzo every Saturdays and Sundays, and I’m loving it! Of all the filming locations of this K-drama, I love Seoullo 7017 the most. It’s beautiful!

To all locations, I think my favorite one is common ground. It is such a really interesting area to do photography as well, aside from being an awesome background for film projects. Plus it reminds me of the food court over in the outlet store in Nagashima in Japan, which I have fond memories of. I am sure the food there tastes awesome too! Have you tried anything from there?
