True Beauty Filming Locations Part 2

Here is part 2 of my filming locations tour of the Korean drama True Beauty which stars Cha Eun Woo, Hwang In-yeop, and Moon Ga-young.

The drama is based on a webtoon and the story is about a high school girl who has been bullied in her old school. She transferred to another school due to family issues where she mastered the art of makeup and transformed herself into a true beauty.

True Beauty Filming Locations Part 2

About Coffee Gangnam Daechi Branch [에이바우트커피 강남대치점]

This coffee shop is one of the filming locations of True Beauty. In episode 9, Han Seo-jun introduced the part-time to Lim Ju-Kyung, and later on, they worked together at this coffee shop. The coffee shop is located in Daechi-dong in the Gangnam district.

How to get here: Take the subway going to Seollung Station (Line 2) and take exit 1. Walkabout 7 minutes.

Hano [하노]

In episode 11, we saw a flashback of the friendship of the trio Lee Su-ho (Cha Eun-woo), Han Seo-jun (Hwang In-yeop), and Jeong Se-yeon (Kang Chan-hee/Chani of SF9). They bought a necklace at the front of this shop which is actually a clothing store located in B. Brick [비브릭] building in Yeonnam-dong in Mapo district.

Luxury SU Noraebang [럭셔리 홍대점]

This place was featured in episode 4 of the drama and located in the bustling area of Hongdae. Luxury Su Noraebang is a high-end karaoke that costs 20,000 won per person per hour after 7:00 pm. During the daytime, per person cost 1,000 won and 10,000 won before 7:00 pm. If you want to relieve your stress come and visit SU Noraebang and discover that hidden talent of yours.

How to get here: Take the subway going to Sangsu Station (Line 6) and take exit 1. Walkabout 7 minutes.
Take the subway going to Hapjeong Station (LIne 2), and take exit 3. Walkabout 10 minutes.

Les Lauves Flower [레로브 플라워]

This flower shop was seen in episode 7 of True Beauty where Lim Ju-Kyung was passing in this shop and stop for a while and look at herself at the glass window of the shop. Les Lauves Flower [레로브 플라워] is a flower shop only a few steps away from Lim Ju-Kyung’s mother’s Pandora Shop (NIN Natural in Nature).

This is also near SOSHO, the house of Lim Ju-Kyung in the drama.

117 Gyedong-gil [117 계동길]

Lim Ju-Kyung’s sister and her boyfriend had a scene here hiding together. This place is actually next to Pandora Shop or NIN Natural in Nature located in the neighborhood of Gyedong-gil in the Jongno District.
